Closing Date: 28th May 2024
What is our offer?
We offer a starting salary of £23,820 per annum for a 37 hour week, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. This will increase during the second year of the apprenticeship, and you will also gain a level 4 data analyst qualification; you will balance this with your role as a housing data apprenticeship.
We also work flexibly, so you will benefit from being able to split your time between working in the office and at home, if you wish to do so. We also work flexibly, so you also have the opportunity to take a further 12 flexi days per year, depending on the requirements and demands of the role.
We also offer:
- A local government pension scheme, where we will also contribute 12.6%
- Fantastic opportunities to support your health and wellbeing
- Opportunities to have your own say on how we develop services with the staff forum, and engagement sessions with our executive leadership team
- Access to affordable leasing options for cards and electronic goods
We will support you from the minute you get through the door, and you will get to meet the team, in the office, over a coffee, or however you would like. We will help you understand the organisation and housing, so that we can support you in getting to know both the workplace, and your colleagues. A planned induction will be in place, so that you can feel supported, but also you will have the chance to meet the people you will support surrounding the importance of data.
South Tyneside Council commissioned an independent review of the housing and wider services that are currently carried out by South Tyneside Homes and has made the decision to bring all housing related services back under Council control. The move will include a TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment Regulations) transfer of all current staff employed by South Tyneside Homes and those recruited between now and when the transfer takes place.

We are looking for self-motivated and willing housing data apprentice, who is passionate about data and people, to join our service improvement team.
What will you get up to?
Working as a housing data apprentice, you will develop your skills, knowledge and experience working across South Tyneside Homes. If you would like to know anything more about the role, we will be more than happy to have an informal conversation with you and to explain what the role would look like day to day and what the overall vision is.
