A bit about us…
South Tyneside Homes is a business that people want to work for, and with, so having a culture where people can thrive and enjoy work is important to both our vision and everyday approach.
Our agile and flexible working environment means that we can support you to get the right work/life balance so that you can be empowered, and so that you can get on with your job and deliver great results for our customers.
At South Tyneside Homes, we manage, maintain and improve 17,000 Council homes on behalf of South Tyneside Council, and staff are central to what we do and the services we provide. One of our company’s strategic objectives is to be an ‘employer of choice, efficient, and well governed’ and we aim to have a motivated, well trained, and diverse workforce to help us meet the needs of the business now and in the future.
South Tyneside Council commissioned an independent review of the housing and wider services that are currently carried out by South Tyneside Homes and has made the decision to bring all housing related services back under Council control. The move will include a TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment Regulations) transfer of all current staff employed by South Tyneside Homes and those recruited between now and when the transfer takes place.

We offer a starting salary of £19,114 per annum for a 37 hour week, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
We also work flexibly so you will benefit from being able to split your time between working in the office, and at home if you wish to do so. We also work flexibly, so you also have the opportunity to take a further 12 flexi days per year depending on the requirements and demands of the role.
We also offer:

We will support you from the minute you get through the door, and you will get to meet the team, in the office, over a coffee, or however you would like. We will help you understand the organisation and housing, so that we can support you in getting to know both the workplace, and your colleagues. A planned induction will be in place, so that you can feel supported, but also you will have the chance to meet the people you will support surrounding the importance of data.

Our team includes the data and governance manager who will manage you, as well as the service improvement manager, and performance officer.
